Our mattresses are both manufactured locally and imported using only premium fabrics, coils, webbing and springs whilst being produced in state of the art manufacturing facilities to the highest quality standards. Our ensemble bases are manufactured locally using Australian pine sourced from sustainable plantations.

Excellent robust design using quality materials for this price point

This is a well priced, well designed bed base.

Most others at this price point cut corners in manufacturing [ upholstered plywood, chipboard or MDF panels, 1/2” thick slats or 19mm but spaced further apart ]

The price of timber worldwide has risen dramatically over the past 10 years so I was very impressed to see the construction is all solid Radiata Pine & doesn’t skimp on using it for all the framing and braces.

The Frame design itself is very simple yet once the parts are all interlocked and fastened it becomes an extremely robust platform.

Having 9 glides on the bottom of the base makes it feel extra rigid and solid

My only small criticisms are A: some of the holes were slightly off centre.

[This didn’t bother me as I had a drill on hand but other DIYers may not.]

B: I ordered the Charcoal Slip cover and whilst it fits perfectly the quality is great the Charcoal colour has a green saturated hue to it.

This may have been a one off but it is noticeable…yet not a deal breaker.

Overall 9.5/10

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others or purchase again

Been a year now, 2 moves later no squeaks. Easy to put together and even easier and quicker with a drill. Havent washed the cover yet (probably should) but even then i have a dog that likes to rub against it back and fourth yet its not marked or anything still looks new and clean!
