The only limitation is how much you can pay with Afterpay. The Afterpay limit for purchasing a mattress or bed with Mobile Mattress is up to $2,000, and just needs to be above $99.

Yes, it is. Pay with Afterpay and we’ll deliver your mattress or bed for free to anywhere in Queensland.

New to Afterpay?

If you’re new to Afterpay or have been using it less than 6 weeks, the amount you can spend is limited to $500. They do this to make sure you’re able to make regular repayments. If you do make regular payments your limit will be increased and you can purchase a bed from us for up to $2,000.

Do I qualify for Afterpay?

To buy a Mattress or Bed with Afterpay, or anything on Afterpay in Australia you’ll need to be 18 years old and have a driving licence or a Medicare card.

How do I sign up for Afterpay?

If you currently don’t have an Afterpay account you can sign up here. You can get instant approval online and then be able to buy a bed from Mobile Mattress.

What do I need to signup?

• Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile number
• Use an Australian credit or debit card to make the purchase

How to purchase a mattress or bed with Afterpay

Once you have selected which bed or mattress you’d like, simply add it to your cart on the site. Then go to the checkout, fill in your personal details, then confirm if you want it delivered or to pick up from our showroom in Capalaba. Then you’ll select your payment method...

Select the checkbox next to the Afterpay logo. After you click “Complete checkout, you’ll be redirected to the Afterpay site where you’ll need to login to your account to complete the transaction.

Once that is done, you’ll be redirected back to the Mobile Mattress site. Then all you have to do is wait for us to deliver it (which is free by the way) or come and pick it up from our Capalaba showroom.

When do I have to pay?

You have to make 4 payments every two weeks directly to Afterpay. The first payment is made the day you purchase your bed or mattress.

Do I have to pay interest?

Not if you make payments on time. Afterpay charge the retailers like us a % of each sale. Just make sure you’re not late with payments. If you are late with a payment Afterpay will charge you at least $10 and anywhere up to 25% of the purchase price or $68, whichever is higher.

It’s really important you stay on top of your payments, otherwise, you’ll be charged late fees, which means you don’t have one of the great benefits of using Afterpay, no extra costs for using them.

Be aware Afterpay fees

The majority of Australians needs extra money from time to time for big purchases like mattresses or beds. We aren’t all fortunate enough to have money saved for unexpected costs. Which is what makes Afterpay so useful. You get what you need now at no extra cost.

However, if you miss a payment, which is due every 2 weeks. If you miss a payment, you’ll be charged $10, then an additional $7 if you haven’t made a payment in the following 7 days. So make sure you know you have the money available in your account for the following 8 weeks to cover your purchase.

Returning a mattress or bed bought with Afterpay

Returns policies for mattresses and beds vary by retailer. At Mobile Mattress, we want you to be really happy with your new bed, that’s why we offer or Worry Free Guarantee, which includes 60 days to exchange your mattress if you’re unhappy with it. All the details can be found here.

However if for whatever reason your mattress or bed is faulty, your usual rights still apply and you can get a refund, which will be transferred into your Afterpay account.

• Afterpay is not available on gift cards, top-up cards, pre-ordered, back-ordered or waitlisted merchandise.
• The funds required for your first payment must be available on your nominated card at the time of checkout.
• If you wish to return your Afterpay purchase via Post, Mobile Mattress's normal returns policy applies.
• If you return your Afterpay purchase in-store, your purchase cannot be refunded and it can only be exchanged for an alternate product or returns card to an equal or lesser value.
• If a payment is due from you, but not received by Afterpay in accordance with the payment schedule, a late payment fee will be charged.
